1) About Southkey

The Southkey is an integrated leasehold mixed development in Johor Bahru City. This major project includes The Lakefront, Southkey Mosaic, Southkey Megamall and some upcoming commercial precincts.

The Lakefront is a shop office development which comprises of 3,4,5 & 8-storey shop offices with a total of 129 units and scheduled completion will be in early 2014.

Southkey Mosaic, a retail, shop office and residence development that consists of two blocks of 34-storey serviced apartments (with 292 units per block), a four-storey shop office with 41 units equipped with lift and 5 units of boutique pods

Southkey Megamall is an integrated retail and commercial development. The mall itself is a six-storey block with entertainment outlets and leisure facilities as well as a Cineplex and bowling alley. This project also includes eight 30-storey tower blocks featuring three hotels, namely Cititel Johor Bahru (675 rooms), Boulevard Hotel (450 rooms) and The Gardens Hotel (450 rooms). There will also be four office blocks and one serviced apartment with 180 units. Completion expected to be by 2016.

Southkey being a major integrated development will have approximately 60 per cent of commercial components, including a business park, shop offices, shopping mall, hypermarket, hotels, medical center, colleges and services apartments. Southkey is a mere few minutes’ drive to Johor Bahru City Centre and the CIQ (Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Complex). Accessing Southkey is made easy via the Jalan Bakar Batu and Jalan Tebrau. You may also commute via the Pasir Gudang and North-South highways.
